2008 is here and its time to make some goals

this year i will focus a little more on live tourneys and will try to get at least at one final table in a mayor live event and also i will try and win a few smaller live mtts in las vegas

as of online my goal is to win a sunday mayor this year and a couple mid buy in mtts
and also i want to win the 55k rebuy at stars this mtt has given me such a headeache i am over 8k down in that particulary mtt so i need a win to make some profit in that mtt

as of 5card draw i havent been playng much the last couple of months beacuse i have been focusing on mtt game but 5card draw is something i master so no need to spend time there only if i need to make some buy ins back infact yessterday after having a horrendous day at mtts i jumped to 5 card draw at stars multi tabled a few for 1 houer or so and made 360us profit at 1/2 pl and
at 50c/1us there where not many tables going on i will post a couple hands here

as of the last couple days i started again playng mtts and i had a very unlukcy run
2 days agoi think i busted 12 mttts without cash or one tiny little maybe but nothing serious to talk about i just run cold and my cards dont hold up or get outdrawn by people who overplay there hands but hey it got to change

i did placed close in the 15k gtd i came in 45th after my 2 pair a3 vs a5 got flushed on the river for a 300k pot which had put me in top 5 places and i would have had a real shot to take it down

then in the 20k rebuy i came in 86th after kk loses to 66 for 450k pot and in another 106th i think where i made a squeeze play which went wrong i got called by ak vs my a7 no help so gg me there


i made a small experiment i went down to the micro limits 25c/50c nlhe cash tables and opent up 14 of them and played for 30minutes i was surprised how profitable there are in such volume i ended up 160us up in 30 minutes at 14 tables i was wow and you can imagine playng so many tables you dont have time to pull fancy moves just focus on fast clear decisions as the tables pop up and its good training to keep focus
i was inspired to try this out by a training video i watched where the guy was playng 26 tables

so today i will focus on mtts and play a bunch of them i hope ican final table or win atleast one today i am really due for this i play well but get unlucky at the end of each mtt final 2 tables are my nemesis hehe so check out the hands i post here and i will also post a couple videos form some deepruns in mtts
